Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Takes Action Following incidents of looting and killings during the ongoing protest, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has imposed a 24-hour curfew to restore law and order.

Protest Hijacked by Hoodlums:

The governor stated that the protest was hijacked by thugs and hoodlums, who looted properties and attacked innocent lives.

Curfew to Restore Peace:

The curfew will remain in place until peace and tranquility are restored to the state.

Security Agencies on Alert:

Meanwhile, security agencies in the state have been put on high alert to enforce the curfew and maintain law and order.

Looting and Killings Reported

Unfortunately, some persons were reportedly killed during the protest, and thugs went on a rampage, looting properties and breaking into shops and houses.

Governor’s Plea for Peace:

Governor Yusuf urged the protesters to conduct themselves peacefully and promised to receive their message and forward it to President Bola Tinubu.
