Former President of the United States of America (USA), Mr. Barack Obama has called on residents of Wisconsin to vote for Judge Susan Crawford in the ongoing Supreme Court race, emphasizing the importance of judges in protecting fundamental rights.
While routing for early voting, the first black American President who made the call via his verified social media handles maintained that Susan Crawford was the only judge who would protect the rights of Wisconsinites.
“If you live in Wisconsin – or have friends or family who do – there’s an important Supreme Court race happening right now. And there’s only one candidate ready to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of Wisconsinites: Judge Susan Crawford”, President Obama said.
Mr Obama called for proper sensitization noting “We’ve all seen how important judges are in protecting our rights, so vote early — don’t wait until April 1st. Find your early vote location today, and share this post with someone who needs a reminder to vote”.
Reacting, some Americans who took to their social media accounts appreciated the former President for his stance, with many of them expressing readiness to heed the call.
According to Wally Vartanian “My wife and I already early voted for Susan Crawford, Jill Underly, and NO on the constitutional amendment. Wisconsin needs to go Blue in order to continue to fight this madness”.
Lori Mogabgab-Wittlesey said “You were such a Great Leader. You will always be the best president in my lifetime. I wish you well In everything you do. Hopefully we will get through this horror soon”.
For Laura Hofmann “Sometimes it feels like a dream that you were our President. Now we are trapped in a nightmare. Still, you and Michelle always share the wisest words which do help us stay strong and persevere, and remember what we can be as a nation”.
Stevie Deviley simply said “I already voted for Susan”.
Thanking Mr Barack Obama, Lisa Bledsoe Ervin said “Thanks for speaking out. Please use your considerable political clout to get all our former leaders to speak out against the insanity of the Trump regime. These are scary times”.
