SEN. NATASHA APOTI- UDUAGHAN NOW IN LIMBO
This photo is a display of theatrics of Sen. Natasha Apoti- Uduaghan, who now goes with a sobriquet, “Lie-Tasha” before tv cameras and social media, premised on hoodwinking as well as manipulating and misleading the entire world to cover up her silly misdemeanor, displayed at the floor of the senate.
All she ought to have done, was to apologize and let the matter die off, as her colleagues had implored her to do but no, she wouldn’t.
She took a detour from moral rectitude, pepping it with sexual harassment accusations, plot to assassinate her in Kogi State, and just recently, adding organ harvesting to her collection of lies against the senate president, Obong Godswill Obot Akpabio.
Without mincing words, the movie looked real on the screen because she felt the script writer had done an incredible job to the script; the actors gave a breathtaking performance and the director gave his best, producing the finest ensemble that will blow the audience away, but it was while being screened at the cinemas that her portrayal was discovered to be slavish, failing to convey the right dynamics to the audience. Her acting prowess and that of other “useful idiots” became slapstick, lacking verve to give the movie the desired audience effect.
Since the choice of story and the storytelling was mechanically deployed, it opened a can of worms on the movie’s thematic preoccupation. The audience suddenly saw beyond the glib facade of entertainment, the deceit, lies and manipulative tendencies of the movie designed to exploit, as well as toy with the sensibility of the viewing public.
Then the razzmatazz she had once enjoyed collapsed in her face like haze and the audience saw Lie- Tasha in her true natural garb- a lying machine, who spills pathological lies with recklessly, a woman of questionable probity, who is notoriously noted for serial sexual harassment blackmails; one who has notoriety in manipulating, prominently deploying gender weaponization to draw the women community to empathize with her conceited agenda but portrayed surreptitiously as sexual harassment narrative against the senate president.
Now that the masquerade has been unmasked, it appears that the game is over for the con heroine, who had lit our screen with a barrage of lies but cocooned as truths and served to the gullible and vulnerable people.
Since our overnight sensational Lie-Tasha cannot continue to thrive on borrowed ropes, she has gone on a limbo; possibly seeking a political asylum in the United States to evade being prosecuted for the criminal charges the federal government has brought against her.
She has left her lawyers to contain with the unimaginable tide that is coming at them, because Natasha has no substantial evidence to tender in the court except the flimsy ones that are being paraded on the social media, which are too flimsy for any court to mark as exhibits let alone be admissible as evidence.
Like an Ibibio adage would put it- “ke atemme awo iko isi temme ke mbumme”.
It could be loosely translated as- “whoever guides one of things to say, will not tell the kind of questions that would be asked”.
Lie-Tasha was guided on things to say about the senate president but she had no iota of the questions that were going to be asked regarding the things she said.
Where are you running to, Lie- Tasha? You must finish what you started!
