…lauds APC Ward leadership for steadfastness
“This is a new chapter for me and I pledge total commitment” – Hon Uko
In a significant political development, the Executive Chairman of Etinan Local Government Area, Hon. Uko Umoh, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and formally registered as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The registration took place earlier today at the APC Ward Office in Ikot Isong, Etinan LGA, where Hon. Uko was warmly received by party stakeholders and enthusiastic supporters.
During his address, Hon. Uko expressed heartfelt appreciation to the ward leadership for their steadfastness and dedication. He emphasized his commitment to working collaboratively with party members and stakeholders to advance the development of the area.
Hon. Uko also extended his gratitude to the APC Chapter Chairman, Comrade Israel Tommy, praising his inclusive leadership style. He pledged to contribute actively toward strengthening the party’s presence and making Etinan a model of good governance and progress.
“This is a new chapter for me, and I am fully committed to working with everyone to ensure Etinan becomes a shining example of development and unity under the APC,” Hon. Uko stated.
His defection is expected to bring a new wave of momentum to the APC in Etinan as the party continues its efforts to consolidate grassroots support ahead of future political engagements.
