Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has assured people living with disabilities of inclusive sports in the state. This was revealed via a statement signed by Saheed Abdullahi, Press Secretary, Kwara State Sports Commission.
According to the statement, the Executive Chairman, Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bolakale Adisa Magaji delivered the message of assurance while receiving members of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, Kwara State Chapter who paid a courtesy call, in his office.
Coach Magaji, said people with disabilities are being carried along in local, national and international sports tournaments to accord them a sense of belonging.
According to him, people with disabilities hold important positions as Coaches and athletes in the Commission under Governor AbdulRazaq.
Coach Magaji further acknowledged their brilliance in their dealings and pledged to grant their requests to enable them realize their full potentials.
Earlier, Chairman, Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, Kwara State Chapter, Mallam Adebayo Gbadamasi solicited the support of the Commission in the forthcoming International Day of Disability to ensure hitch free celebration.
Mallam Gbadamasi commended Coach Magaji for his sterling performance and congratulated him on his reappointment.
