The Nigerian secret security outfit known as the Department of State Service (DSS) has issued a disclaimer, alerting members of the public of the fraudulent activities of one Barry Donald, a dismissed staff member of the State Service.
In a public statement, the DSS warned Nigerians to desist from having any dealing with the said Barry whom they noted was using the name of the service to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
The disclaimer reads “The Department of State Services (DSS) hereby alerts members of the public of the activities of one Barry Donald, a dismissed staff. He is reportedly engaging in unscrupulous activities, including using the name of the Service to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
Members of the public are therefore advised to desist from any dealings with him. For requests, enquiries or complaints the Service can be reached on 09088373515 or via email: dsspr@dss.gov.ng”.
As at the time of this report, no detail was attached to clarify with which command Barry Donald was serving when he was dismissed from the service.
