…declares support beyond 2027

A foremost socio-political organization known as the APC Youth Caucus, Akwa Ibom State, has commended the state governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno for, according to the group, working hard to secure the future of the youths of the State.
Speaking to newsmen in Uyo yesterday, Chairman of the Caucus, Comrade Victor Etim, on behalf of the group, lauded Gov Umo Eno’s initiative of constructing ultramodern Youth Friendly Centres across the 31 local government areas in the state.
“The governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno is doing well in the area of positioning the youths of the state for a better future”, Comrade Victor said, adding that the governor’s disposition towards the youths is the reason the state is experiencing peace.
Continuing, Comrade Victor said “When His Excellency announced that he’s going to build the Youth Friendly Centres across the 31 local government areas of the state, a lot of people thought that it’s going to be just one of such promises by governors. But Pastor Umo Eno has proven that he’s a different governor”.
On the benefits of the youth friendly centres, the Youth Caucus Chairman maintained that when completed, the centres would be a rallying point for youths engagement.
“The benefits of these centres are enormous. I have been opportune to see the dummy of the ultramodern centre. It’s going to be equipped with computers and internet facilities for the youths to explore the numerous opportunities.
There’s also skills acquisition hubs to train the youths on their chosen areas of interests, and so on. In fact, I can say vividly that the youths of Akwa Ibom State have not had it this good in recent history. Gov Umo Eno has changed the dynamics of youths empowerment.
So, on behalf of the APC Youth Caucus, Akwa Ibom State Chapter, I want to sincerely commend His Excellency, Gov Umo Eno on this great initiative. I also want to declare our unalloyed support for him beyond 2027”, Comrade Victor Etim concluded.
It would be recalled that the Akwa Ibom State government last week, flagged off the construction of ultramodern Youth Friendly Centres in ten pilot local government areas of the state.
