One of the famous spiritual leaders in Nigeria, Prophet Ekong Ituen has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for responding to his spiritual advice on the need to declare a state of emergency on security in the country.
Prophet Ituen who’s the Founder and Spiritual Leader of Christ Deliverance Ministries, Lagos, while lauding the President, expressed his belief that soon, security problems in Nigeria shall be a thing of the past.
It would be recalled that Prophet Ituen had on Sunday, while fielding questions from newsmen in Abuja over the spate of insecurity in the country, urged President Tinubu to declare a state of emergency on security as according to the cleric, “Our Military can not fight terrorism, they are far from winning this battle because they are helpless”.
Ituen had stated further that “Nigerian government needs to convince me and the citizens why President Trump should not come to our rescue. We should diplomatically partner with President Trump to eradicate terrorism in our country.
It is to be noted that modern war against terrorism is technologically based. If President Donald Trump is the one God will use to fight this battle for us let him come quickly”.
In a chat with journalists yesterday in Abuja on his response to Tinubu’s move, Prophet Ituen said “the President’s declaration of a State of emergency on security shows that he listens to reasonable advice from credible men of God.
I believe that the state of emergency would go a long way in curbing the menace of insecurity especially, in the northern part of the country.
As God’s servant, I will continue to deliver the messages which the Holy spirit declares through me. As a spiritual leader, I will continue to pray for our President and other leaders and also offer my pieces of advice, where necessary. I believe that the Almighty God shall hear our cries and heal our land”.
