The Executive Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government, Hon. Shehu AbdulRahman Babatunde Ladan today received the leadership and representatives of Warra Oja community in a constructive interaction centered on the area’s development needs and ongoing government interventions around their community.
The community delegation, led by Councilor representing Warra Osin-ebejila, Hajia Sherifat Balogun, elders and youths expressed appreciation to the Chairman for the recent attention given to roads, school facilities, and environmental sanitation within Warra Oja. They noted that the administration’s commitment has brought visible improvements and renewed the community’s confidence in local governance.
They also used the opportunity to present additional requests, including enhancement of road networking, school renovation, streetlights, and further support for community-based initiatives aimed at improving security and social welfare.
In his response, Hon. Ladan praised the Warra Oja community for their peaceful conduct, cooperation, and continuous support for government policies. He assured the delegation that their concerns would be carefully prioritized within the council’s development plan. The Chairman reaffirmed that his administration remains focused on delivering impactful, people-oriented projects and strengthening partnerships with communities across Ilorin West.
He further stated that developmental progress is a collective effort and encouraged the community to maintain open communication with the council as they work together to achieve sustained growth.
