The Federal Commissioner representing Akwa Ibom State in the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Obong (Barr) Imo Akpan has congratulated the President of the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Distinguished Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday, describing him as a certified raiser of destinies.
In a gratitude-laden goodwill message released today, Imo Akpan, who attributed his rising to the Senate President’s benevolence, guidance, undisguised love, also took special congnisance of God’s amazing grace upon the former Akwa Ibom State governor.
Addressing Sen Akpabio as his “Boss, Mentor, Leader and Benefactor”, the ObongIfiok Ikono said: “On this glorious occasion of your birthday, I, on behalf of my immediate family, the Akwa Ibom State office at the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, join millions of grateful hearts across Nigeria and beyond to celebrate a man whose life is a living testimony of God’s amazing grace”.
Obong Akpan further noted that Sen Akpabio’s ascension to the position of Senate President was not just reward for diligence and resilience, but a clear evidence of God’s goodness and faithfulness.
According to Imo: “From the humblest of beginnings in Ukana Ikot Ntuen, through the undeniable finger of God, you have risen phenomenally to the pinnacle of governance, leaving behind a trail of compassion, excellence, uncommon love for humanity, and an unrelenting zeal to succeed. Your ascension to the exalted office of President of the 10th Senate is not merely a reward for diligence and resilience; it is the clearest evidence of God’s goodness and faithfulness. By divine extension, that same glory has trickled down to countless lives, including mine. Through your benevolence, guidance, undisguised love, and unwavering belief in me, I have become the person I am today, and I remain eternally grateful.
You are a certified raiser of destinies, a generational gift to Akwa Ibom State, to Nigeria, and indeed to humanity. True leadership, as you have consistently shown, is about lifting others, illuminating paths, and planting trees whose shade you may never personally sit under”.
As Akpabio turns 63, Imo concluded: “On this special day, we celebrate not just the addition of another year, but the magnificent accumulation of grace, wisdom, compassion, and monumental virtues that you so effortlessly embody. I join innumerable well-wishers in praying that the Almighty God who has brought you this far will continue to bless you with robust health, boundless joy, profound wisdom, renewed strength, and many more glorious years of selfless service to our nation and to mankind.
