Breaking! AFCON2025: Nwabali emerges Man-of-The-Match as Nigeria win
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have triumphed over the Pharaohs of Egypt to emerge third in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON hosted by Morocco.
The winner of the highly tensed match which ended goalless at 90 minutes stoppage time was decided through penalty kicks.
Nigerian goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali who saved two of the penalty kicks including Mohammed Sallah’s, was named Man of the match.
The match ended 4-2 as the Egyptian goalkeeper also saved one of penalty kicks.
