The Super Eagles of Nigeria have made a remarkable jump in the latest World Football Governing body, FIFA Men’s World Rankings, rising 12 places to 26th in the world.
This significant improvement comes on the heels of the Senior National team’s strong showing at the just-concluded 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, where the team secured 3rd place with a series of impressive performances.
Under the guidance of the Malian football tactician, Coach Eric Chelle, the Super Eagles demonstrated tactical maturity, resilience, and consistency throughout the tournament.
With this ranking, Nigeria is now positioned 3rd on the African continent, only Senegal which is second and Morocco, first.
