North 2 APC Stakeholders convene, as Nsikak Akpan hosts Appreciation Meeting

 

The Executive Chairman of Etinan local government area, Hon. (Dr.) Uko Umoh has stressed the need for the All Progressives Congress, (APC) political office holders to discharge their duties with diligence, accountability and loyalty to the party and the people.

 

The Council Chairman stated this at Asuna Community Centre, Northern Iman Ward 2, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, when the Supervisor for Special Duties in the LGA, Hon Nsikak Matthew Akpan convened a strategic thank you meeting to appreciate party stakeholders and members. He commended the Supervisor for the initiative and called on other political office holders in the area to emulate him.

Hon Uko Umoh also used the occasion to educate the people on the developmental efforts of his administration. He highlighted the economic importance of the newly established Etinan Modern Park, popularly known as “Etinan Terminus,” describing it as a catalyst for innovation, youth empowerment, and economic advancement.

Earlier in his speech, the convener, Hon Nsikak Matthew thanked the Executive Chairman for the opportunity given him to serve in his administration as a Supervisor. He also appreciated the APC stakeholders in the Ward for their support so far.

Participants at the meeting unanimously expressed satisfaction with Hon. Akpan’s performance and encouraged him to sustain and deepen his commitment to grassroots development and effective representation.

The meeting drew the presence of prominent stakeholders in the Ward including Obong Donald Uko and Hon. Elder Kufre Ikono, both former Transition Chairmen of Etinan LGA.

Others were the Personal Assistant to the Governor; Hon.(Prince) Inyeneobong Ekpe, Councilor representing Northern Iman Ward 2; Hon Obot Uko and Political leader of Mbioto 1; Obong Emmanuel Titus.

Also present were the immediate-past APC Senatorial District Woman leader; Patience Anako, APC Ward Chairman, Ward Executive Members, women and youths of the Ward.
