A frontline socio-political movement, the Democratic Freedom Front (DFF) has commiserated with a former governor of Kaduna State; His Excellency, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai over the demise of his beloved mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.
In a message of condolences signed by its National Chairman and 2027 House of Representatives hopeful; Ikakke Bassey, amt, MyrP, the group prayed the Almighty Allah to forgive the departed matriarch of her shortcomings and grant her everlasting peace.
“The Democratic Freedom Front (DFF) extends its deepest condolences to our Grand Patron, Nasir El-Rufai, on the passing of his beloved mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai”, part of the message read.
DFF in the message expressed its feelings over the vacuum created by Hajiya Umma’s departure, reasoning that her values and guidance impacted her children as reflected in Mallam El-Rufai’s life of discipline and leadership.
“We recognize that the loss of a mother is a profound and irreplaceable loss — one that touches the deepest parts of the heart. Hajiya Umma El-Rufai was not only a mother but a pillar of strength, values, and guidance whose influence is reflected in the life of service, discipline, and leadership that you embody today.
“At DFF, we mourn with you and your entire family during this difficult time. We pray that Almighty Allah grants her eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus, forgives her shortcomings, and rewards her with everlasting peace.
May you find strength in her legacy, comfort in your memories, and solace in the prayers and support of all who stand with you. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and unwavering solidarity”, the message concludes.
