…why I left my marriage, filed for divorce
Frank Edoho’s ex-wife, Sandra, has publicly responded to cheating allegations against her, sharing her account of their marriage in a lengthy Instagram story post.
In the post, Sandra accused Edoho of infidelity during her pregnancy and claimed the affair lasted for years. “You decided while I am pregnant with our first child, to have a prolonged affair that lasted years with an actress, Mbong Amata amongst other women,” she wrote.
Sandra alleged that Edoho pressured her to terminate a second pregnancy and described years of emotional, psychological, mental, and physical abuse. “You tormented me to abort our 2nd child because you were in numerous relationships and not ready to be a father. Throughout the emotional, physiological, mental and physical torture and abuse , i stayed committed, faithful, shielding you, carrying like egg. But you are a shell. Washed up and dried out. You live for validation of the internet. So enjoy your 10 seconds of pity party.”
She also claimed she was the primary financial provider during their marriage, stating she covered household expenses, travel, and bills for Edoho and his children from a previous marriage. “I single handedly sponsored your lavish lifestyle. I paid all your bills, the trips, business class tickets, 5-star hotels, luxury trips, all the home bills including that of the other children from your previously failed marriage.”
Sandra further alleged that Edoho sold her property without permission and spent the proceeds, and named several women she said he was involved with. “You disappear for weeks with loose women like Adaeze Ugboaja at The Hardrock Cafe, or is it Tega Dominic the BBNaija girl, or is it Amaka Okeke whom you claimed you were trying to get endorsement and sponsorship for “who wants to be a millionaire” who you brought into our home to sleep with on our matrimonial bed?”
She said she eventually chose to end the marriage. “I was a great and faithful wife to the core. But a time comes when a woman must choose herself. I chose myself and walked away, filed for divorce too.”
Concluding the post, Sandra said she is now free to date whomever she chooses. “As an adult woman, I am free to be friends with and date whomever I please. Please move on with your life.”
