Breaking! President Tinubu decorates Olatunji Disu as Acting IGP

Following yesterday’s resignation of the immediate-past Inspector-General of Police; IGP Kayode Egbetokon, Olatunji Disu has been decorated as the Acting Inspector-General of the Nigeria Police Force.
His decoration was performed today, Wednesday by the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Prior to his recent elevation, the Ag. IGP had served the Force in different capacities including as Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
He also previously held the position of Commissioner of Police for Rivers State as well as the Deputy Commissioner of Police for the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Rivers State.
It would be recalled that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, had yesterday accepted the resignation of the immediate-past Inspector-General.
