Convention: Do not celebrate yet – Prophet Ituen advises PDP

…says more political battles ahead

By our correspondent

Founder and Spiritual Leader of the Christ Deliverance Ministries, Lagos, Prophet Ekong Ituen has admonished the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, not to celebrate yet, warning that the party had more political battles ahead to fight.

Prophet Ituen who stated this in his prophetic declarations on the heels of the disputed PDP convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State on the 15th and 16th November, 2025, further revealed that he saw a court of competent jurisdiction nullifying the convention.

“In my revelation, I saw a court of competent jurisdiction nullifying the convention. From my spiritual observation, the PDP crisis is far from over, as more political battles lie ahead”, the fierce cleric prophesied.

On the PDP’s future ahead of the 2027 general elections, Prophet Ituen also warned that the party would find it difficult to file a presidential candidate, adding that even if it did, such candidacy might not be validated by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, or the courts.

He said: “The party will find it difficult to field a presidential candidate in 2027 and even if they succeed in presenting one, INEC or the courts may not validate that candidacy.

I urge the party to seek guidance from a true cleric who is spiritually grounded for divine direction, because the spiritual controls the physical. I also implore them to activate internal mechanisms within the party’s constitution to resolve the ongoing conflicts”.

Pundits who follow his prophetic declarations have described Prophet Ekong Ituen as a major Prophet in Nigeria. According to them, the accuracy of his prophecies has made him a spiritual force to reckon with.

“You may criticise him endlessly, call him a political prophet, an APC or PDP prophet, but one thing that cannot be taken from him is the consistency in his prophetic ministry”.
