His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reappointed Dr. Muheeba Dankaka as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission, FCC.
Also reappointed along with others, is a renowned Pharmacist, Obonganwan Dora Ebong as Commissioner to represent Akwa Ibom State at the Commission.
The appointments and reappointments were contained in a State House Press Release today, signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
The Akwa Ibom State representative at the Commission, Obonganwan Dora, is an astute woman mobilizer who was first appointed by the immediate-past President, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari.
Before her first appointment, Obonganwan Dora has been a staunch chieftain of the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, in Akwa Ibom State.
She is a founding member of the APC in the state having been a strong member of the now defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), one of the legacy blocs that formed the APC.
She was one of the strongest contenders for the Uyo Federal Constituency seat in 2015 on the APC platform, but lost the primaries to Hon. Edwin Joseph who was then member, representing Uyo State Constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
