…says he’s Africa’s Great Ambassador
One of Africa’s football legends and former Ivory Coast striker, Didier Drogba has praised the Super Eagles’ forward, Victor Osimhen for his superlative performance at Galatasaray, Turkey.
Drogba, an ex-Chelsea striker who stated this in a comment said he was in Turkey where he watched Osimhen helped his club triumph over visiting side, Liverpool.
According to Drogba “I’m proud of Victor Osimhen, he’s a great ambassador to African Football. I was in Turkey last night to watch the match only because of him. He stole the show and made it an African show last night”.
While expressing his hope that Africa would soon take over the World football, Drogba vowed to help Osimhen win Balon D’Or.
“Until Osimhen grabs that Balon D’or, I will not let him rest. He chose me as his idol, his mentor and I owe him every responsibility of guidance and directions
I’m happy a player like Osimhen is from the Great African nations, together we are stronger and rapidly African players will take over the world”.
Osimhen had a superlative performance yesterday when he helped Galatasaray overpower Liverpool through his 16th minute lone goal.
