The governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno has performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the flag off of the Renewed Hope Housing Estate at Ekpene Ukim in Uruan local government area of the state.
In a post event statement, the governor thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for selecting Akwa Ibom as the first State to launch the project.
“Today, I performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Renewed Hope Housing Estate at Ekpene Ukim, Uruan, a landmark partnership between the Akwa Ibom State Government and the Federal Housing Authority aimed at expanding access to affordable housing.
I thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Housing Authority for selecting Akwa Ibom as the first state to launch this project”.
The project, according to the governor aligns with the ARISE Agenda of his government, noting also that it would create jobs, while also improving livelihood.
“This aligns with our ARISE Agenda to close the housing gap, create jobs, and improve livelihoods. Together, we are turning hope into homes for our people”.
