56 years old Mary Giah, grandmother of the three deceased children has openly confessed to police investigation team why she slit the throats of her grandchildren
According to media reports, the suspected murderer has been arrested by the Police for slaughtering her three grand children yesterday in Mehnla town, District 9, Nimba County- Liberia.
According to the suspected murderer, Mary Giah, her daughter’s boyfriend had been insulting, provoking and accusing her of being a witch.
She reportedly said that she killed the children so that her daughter’s boyfriend would have nothing linking him to her daughter.
She said “I killed them because since he’s calling me witchcraft, nothing will be between my daughter, that’s why I bought a knife and razor blade to do it”.
Police sources told reporters that investigation was ongoing and that the suspect would soon appear in court.
