The Executive Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government, Hon. Shehu Abdulrahman Babatunde Ladan has installed complete sets of furniture at Mansigba Okekere LGA. The provision of the furniture followed a successful completion of renovation of two blocks of classrooms at the school.
This move, according to a statement signed by his Special Assistant on New Media, Abdulgafar Abayomi, is in furtherance of the Chairman’s demonstration of his administration’s commitment to the delivery of quality education and conducive learning environments in the area.
“The new furniture, which includes desks, chairs, and teachers’ tables, is aimed at providing comfort and promoting effective teaching and learning for both pupils and staff”, part of the release read.
The statement further added that the management had expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Ladan and the entire Ilorin West Council for their continuous support and intervention in the education sector. He noted that the gesture would go a long way in enhancing classroom experience and improving academic performance.
The release also quoted Hon. Ladan as reaffirming his dedication to educational development, assuring that his administration will continue to prioritize projects that impact the lives of pupils and strengthen the foundation of learning across Ilorin West.
