Just-In! U20: South Africa defeat Flying Eagles of Nigeria
The Amajita of South Africa have defeated the Flying Eagle of Nigeria in the semi final of U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) hosted in Egypt today.
In the first half the flying eagles dominated the game, but couldn’t find the back of the net, until goal Hadrcourt sustained an injury that led to too many mistakes that enabled the Amajita to find the back of the net.
Though he was substituted later in the game, but, the south Africa remained resilient until the end of the game.
With the result, South Africa is through to the final while the Flying Eagles would be slugging out for a third place against the losers of the second semi final game between Egypt and Morocco.
Meanwhile, the flying eagles have qualified for the U20 World Cup in Chile.
