2027: Prophet Ituen warns four govs against Wike’s alleged ‘political onslaught’

Founder of Christ Deliverance Ministries, His Grace Prophet Ekong Ituen, has warned that four key political actors in the South-East and North-East face a major political battle ahead of the 2027 governorship elections and will need “serious prayer and divine intervention” to withstand what he described as a determined political push by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

In a press statement released on Monday, the cleric named Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State, Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, “the candidate of Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State,” and the All Progressives Congress candidate in Imo State at the last election as those targeted.

According to Prophet Ituen, Minister Wike “has determined to secure victory for PDP governorship candidates either through the ballot or court process after the election in the above mentioned states.”

“I advise them to align with a true Prophet of their choice to avert political humiliation because God has a word for them,” he stated.

The prophet also spoke on the future of the Peoples Democratic Party saying, “In my revelation, I saw the rebirth of PDP in the future, because the party will spring forth, as many that left will return. I urge them to remain focus, committed and loyal to the party because there is hope,” he maintained.

Prophet Ituen, who regularly publishes what he calls prophetic declarations on national politics, attached a list of what he described as “#PastFulfilledProphecies” to buttress his credibility.

Among those cited were his August 16, 2026 message to former Osun Governor Gboyega Oyetola, his February 3, 2026 prediction that Ekiti Governor Biodun Oyebanji would win re-election, and his December 31, 2025 crossover prophecy that “2026: A year of confusion and disappointment for some politicians who are anxious for party tickets.”

He also referenced earlier declarations including his October 20, 2025 claim that “I see Peter Obi stranded, not getting ADC ticket,” his January 2024 and January 2026 warnings to Rivers Governor Sim Fubara to “make peace with Barr. Nyesom Wike,” and his July 7, 2025 caution to the ADC coalition about “conflict of interest amongst key political stakeholders.”

Other past declarations listed by the prophet include the 2024 Ondo and Edo governorship results, the 2023 presidential and governorship winners he published in Vanguard, Telegraph and Daily Times newspapers in January 2023, and earlier calls dating back to 2011, 2015 and 2019 on elections in Osun, Ekiti, Kogi, Imo, Ogun, Borno, Lagos, Kaduna and other states.

He also cited prophecies on national figures such as former APC Chairman Abdullahi Adamu, former PDP Chairman Iyorchia Ayu, former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Ahead of 2027, realignments are already shaping up across PDP, APC and other parties, with the FCT Minister widely regarded as a major influence within PDP structures despite serving in an APC-led federal government.

As of press time, there was no immediate response from the offices of Governors Mbah, Nwifuru, or from representatives of Governor Bala Mohammed and the Imo APC.

Prophet Ituen concluded his message by urging politicians to take spiritual counsel seriously as the 2027 election cycle approaches.
