SSDC: Akwa Ibom APC National Youth Caucus, hails Usoro’s appointment

The APC National Youth Caucus, NYC, Akwa Ibom State Chapter has described as ‘square peg in a square hole’ the appointment of
Usoro Offiong Akpabio as Managing Director, South-south Development Commission (SSDC).
His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, today forwarded Ms. Usoro Offiong Akpabio’s name amongst the nominees to the National Assembly for screening and confirmation for appointments into various positions.
Reacting to Ms. Usoro’s appointment as the pioneer Managing Director of the recently established Commission, the Caucus in a release signed by their State Chairman, Comrade Victor Sunday Etim noted with pride her managerial prowess which they said was necessary to nurture the new Commission.
“We received today with joy the news of your appointment by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the pioneer Managing Director of the newly established South-south Development Commission (SSDC)”, part of the release which was addressed to Ms. Usoro Offiong Akpabio, stated.
While affirming their belief in Ms Usoro’s capacity to deliver in her mandate, the group also appreciated President Tinubu for finding “an illustrious daughter of Akwa Ibom State suitable for the exalted position”.
“You have distincted yourself over the years as a worthy and illustrious daughter of Akwa Ibom State, excelling in your previous positions of endeavor. Your leadership and managerial capabilities stand you out, making your appointment a square peg in a square hole.
As we congratulate you on your new appointment, we have no doubts in our minds that you shall excell beyond expectations in order to justify the confidence reposed in you by Mr President”.
