Breaking! Rivers Crisis: Court rules on RSIEC’s eligibility to conduct LG polls
A federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has denied an order sought by a Civil Society Organisation (CSO) seeking to amongst others, stop the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) and its Sole Administrator from proceeding with the local government elections in Rivers State.
This development paves the way for the electoral process to continue, ensuring the democratic rights of Rivers State residents are upheld.
