…urges the party to remain focused

Founder and Spiritual Leader of Christ Deliverance Ministries, CDM, Lagos, His Grace, Prophet Ekong Ituen has prophesied that the former Nigeria’s ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP, would bounce back to political relevance.
Prophet Ituen who made this known in his prophetic declaration hinted that the remnants of the party would spring forth, while some defectors will return to the political fold.
The PDP was formed on August 21, 1998, in Abuja, Nigeria.
In the first democratically-conducted general elections in 1999 after years of military incursions, the PDP had twenty-one (21) governors out of Nigeria’s 36 states. These governors played a significant role in reshaping the country’s transition to full and uninterrupted democratic dispensation.
The party did not only produce leaders of the two chambers of the national assembly, they also dominated the legislature, both at the national and state levels.
The PDP dominated Nigerian politics in the early years of the return of democracy, producing presidents like Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Yar’Adua, and Goodluck Jonathan.
The fortunes of the PDP started dwindling after it suffered defeat at the 2015 presidential poll, losing to the newly-formed All Progressives Congress, APC.
As reported in the media, Prophet Ekong Ituen had afore time, forewarned of PDP’s impending calamities, urging the party to put its house in order.
Eventually, the calamities could not be averted hence, the 2015 defeat dealt a big blow to the PDP leading to defections of its key leaders and members to the APC, with the situation becoming worst in 2023 and 2026.
But, in his recent public declaration, Prophet Ituen said he saw a great revival and restoration for the PDP, urging them to remain focus.
“Beyond 2027, PDP will bounce back”, Prophet Ituen declared in a statement he personally signed and dated March, 23, 2026, adding that “The remnants will spring forth, some defectors will return”.
He continued “With my spiritual observation while interacting with God on the state of the Nation, I saw a great revival and restoration for PDP in the future.
I urge them to remain focus, committed and loyal to the party because there is hope”.
Prophet Ekong Ituen is a Nigerian spiritual leader who has become famous for his numerous fulfilled prophetic declarations, most of which have been published in the media.
