Our movement is propelled by a collective vision to ensure positive transformation, foster effective governance, and project a prosperous future for all residents of Kwara and Nigeria, irrespective of our diverse backgrounds.
It is absurd to read the press release of some political jobbers trying to discredit our movement only to score cheap political points.
We totally dissociate ourselves from such misleading tissue of lies statements. We urge the public to disregard the information
To clarify, the convener of our movement is Shehu Afunja; His familial connections to the community are profound: He was born to a successful businessman at Onikoko compound, Isale-Jagun, Adewole Ward, His mother originates from Adewole (Kariola Eleran Compound, Idi-Gba), his grandmother also hails from Adewole (Modele Compound, Adeta), and his great-grandmother is from Adewole (Asarokun Compound, Kuntu). Additionally, his spouse is from a renowned royal family which pledges allegiance to the Emir of Ilorin. Only those with misguided intentions would seek to disrupt the harmony of a flourishing community.
Shehu Afunja is a genuine son of the Emirate and a descendant of the most esteemed Emir of Ilorin.
