State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Clement Awakessien, Ph.D has stressed the need for synergy amongst the youths in the state in order for a seamless trickling down of the dividends of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno’s progressive movement into the APC.
Hon Awakessien who stated this on Monday, 18th August, 2025 at his State Secretariat office while playing host to the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth; Hon. Iniobong Akpan and other SAs to the Governor across the Federal Constituencies in the state, also canvased for a way forward to be chatted for common benefits.
The APC State Youth Leader further noted that it was generally observed that the level of compliance to the governor’s directive on progressive movement across the state was very low within the youth formations.
He called for effective collaboration between the youth formations in the state with relevant government functionaries with a view to guaranteeing effectively, the delivery of the Governor’s Arise Agenda for the people of the state.
Other issues, bordering on the general plights of the youths were also addressed, with the Youth Leader assuring that subsequent level of engagements would continue which he said would be championed by the youth wing of the party.
Earlier in his remarks, Leader of the delegation, Hon Iniobong Akpan said the meeting was in furtherance of his office’s efforts at ensuring a smooth and seamless assimilation in line with the governor’s progressive movement.
