The All Progressives Congress, APC, Akwa Ibom State Chapter has given support groups wishing to join the party, especially from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, up until 10th August, 2025 to revalidate their membership.
In a Public Notice dated July 31 and signed by the APC State Youth Leader, Dr. Clement Awakessien, the party stated that the exercise was in line with relevant provisions of the APC constitution.
The release stressed “In accordance with Article 9.4 subsection (III) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Constitution 2022 as amended, concerning membership of support groups and associations joining the party, support groups are hereby informed of the On-going Registration and Re-validation exercise for those support groups joining the party from the PDP and the APC support groups, to avail themselves of this opportunity on or before the 10th of August 2025 at the party Secretariat, 6 Ekpo Obot street UYO, Akwa Ibom state, for the exercise”.
Highlighting the requirements for the revalidation, the statement continued “Support group Representatives are advised to visit the party office to obtain an online Registration form to be filled for documentation.
For any Support group Representative to fill the form,
He or she must have;
1). Voters card, party membership card, Nin
2). A pre- Approved Registration code, obtained from the office of the state youth leader of the party.
3). Gmail account login credentials handy to login, before forms can be filled. This is to allow for data validation and Intergrity.
