Akwa Ibom APC nullifies purported expulsion of Emmanuel Inyang-Etoh

The Akwa Ibom State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has vehemently rejected the expulsion of prominent party leader Emmanuel Bernard Inyang-Etoh by Ukana East Ward executives, calling the move “a shameless charade orchestrated by compromised elements seeking to destabilize our party.”

State Chairman Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, in a strongly-worded statement, declared: “This so-called expulsion is utterly illegitimate and constitutes a gross violation of our party’s constitution. No ward executive has the unilateral power to expel a stakeholder of Inyang-Etoh’s standing without due process.”

The party leadership dismissed all allegations against Inyang-Etoh as “baseless, malicious, and politically motivated fabrications” designed to tarnish the reputation of what they described as “one of our most loyal and dedicated members.” Ntukekpo emphasized, “Mr. Inyang-Etoh remains a bonafide and respected stakeholder of the APC. His contributions to our party’s growth in Akwa Ibom are immeasurable and well-documented.”

The state working committee issued a stern 24-hour ultimatum, demanding the signatories “publish a full retraction and personally submit a hard copy to our state office.” The chairman warned: “Let this serve as final notice – any further attempts to embarrass the party or its leaders will be met with swift and decisive disciplinary action.”
