Bakin community applauds Gov AbdulRazaq over new school facilities

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has completed the construction of a block of two classrooms with an office at LGEA Primary School, Bakin, in Oyun Local Government Area, alongside the provision of furniture and other essential fittings.

 

The newly completed facility has transformed the learning environment in the school, providing pupils and teachers with better spaces for teaching and learning. The improved infrastructure has also created a more peaceful, comfortable, and conducive academic environment for the children.

 

Speaking on the intervention, a community leader, Elder Kolawole Ajala, expressed appreciation to Governor AbdulRazaq for remembering their community and extending the government’s education interventions to the area.

Elder Ajala noted that the location of Bakin at the border between Kwara and Osun States has not prevented the community from benefiting from the administration’s development initiatives. He said the new classrooms and other facilities have made a significant difference in the educational experience of their children.

 

He commended Governor AbdulRazaq for demonstrating that communities at the grassroots, including those in remote and border areas, remain an important part of the state’s development agenda.

 

The intervention at Bakin is another indication of the AbdulRazaq administration’s commitment to expanding access to quality basic education by improving school infrastructure and creating conducive learning environments for children across Kwara State.

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has completed the remodeling of four classrooms with an office, provision of furniture and fittings, as well as construction of VIP Toilet at Junior Secondary School (JSS) Akerebiata in Ilorin East Local Government Area.

The new structure has added much-needed learning space to the school and improved the overall academic environment for both teachers and learners. The availability of better-equipped classrooms has also created a more comfortable and organised setting for effective teaching and learning.

 

Speaking on the impact of the intervention, the Vice Principal of the school, Hajia Adebayo Fatimoh, commended the Governor for the project. She said the new facilities have brought noticeable improvements to teaching and learning while creating a more conducive and serene environment for teachers and learners.

 

Hajia Adebayo further disclosed that the improved facilities have contributed to an increase in enrolment, reflecting growing confidence in the school’s learning environment and capacity.

 

The intervention at JSS Akerebiata reinforces the AbdulRazaq administration’s commitment to expanding and upgrading educational infrastructure while creating the conditions necessary for improved learning outcomes across Kwara State.
