…as Their Excellencies, Al-Makura, Masari convene meeting in Abuja
Leaders of the now defunct Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) bloc have distanced themselves from the ‘coalition’ purportedly being jointly spearheaded by a former Vice President and 2023 Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the immediate-past governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-rufai.
The CPC bloc being one of the legacy political parties that formed the All Progressives Congress (APC) declared their commitment to the ruling APC.
Leaders of the defunct CPC led by former Nasarawa State Governor, Alhaji Tanko Al-Makura met in Abuja today to reaffirm their loyalty to APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Former Katsina State Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Masari also attended the meeting which was held at Al-Makura’s Abuja residence.
