A Lagos high court sitting in Ikeja has struck out a case filed by the General Overseer and President of the Omega Fire Ministries, Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman against Omoyele Sowore.
This was disclosed by Sowore via a statement posted on his verified social media handles.

It would be recalled that Apostle Suleman had in 2017, dragged Sowore, an Activist and Publisher of an online newspaper, Sahara Reporters, to court over issues regarding a certain Canada -based Stephanie Otobo.
The case, as learnt was abandoned by the the Apostle, hence same being struck out on grounds of lack of diligent prosecution.
Announcing the development, Sowore said ‘It is important to share with the public that after @Apostle Johnson Suleman sued in 2017 with much pomp and pageantry against me and his estranged Canada-based mistress, Stephanie Otobo, he subsequently abandoned the case.
“Today I was informed by Barrister Oluwafemi Olabisi the attorney who graciously prosecuted this case pro bono, that the suit has now been formally struck out by a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja for lack of diligent prosecution.
This case is separate from his more recent lawsuit instituted in Benin City, which is already following the same trajectory and will, in all likelihood, suffer the same fate in due course”.
