Breaking! Akwa Ibom gov, others missing as PDP ‘Top Leaders’ meet
Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno is amongst the governors and other important absent as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) holds its meeting for top leaders of the party. The meeting was ongoing as at press time.
It would be recalled that the Akwa Ibom State Chief Executive had in recent times made comments suggestive of his concluded plans to defect from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to reports, PDP top leaders had convened the meeting to weigh in on measures to forestall the increasing wave of high-profile defection from their party.
