The incumbent governor of Osun State, Mr. Ademola Adeleke has formally tendered his resignation from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
His resignation which was submitted to the PDP, came few hours after the governor earlier withdrew his nomination form he had previously acquired to seek the party’s gubernatorial ticket with which to contest for his reelection.
With Governor Adeleke’s resignation, the PDP now has only one governor in the person of His Excellency, Engr. Makinde of Oyo State in the Southwest region, while its fortune keeps declining due to continuous defection of its elected political office holders.
