Jeju Air Flight 2216 – A Boeing 737-800 crash-landed after a landing gear malfunction, allegedly caused by a bird strike. The accident resulted in 179 fatalities.

Light Aircraft Crash – A small plane from Jazirah Aviation Club crashed into the sea off Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Tragically, both the pilot and co-pilot lost their lives.
