Just-In! Burglars attack Iwobi’s home, cart away valuables at knifepoint 

 

Burglars have broken into the home of Nigeria Super Eagles’ playmaker and Fulham star, Alex Iwobi, where he was held at knifepoint.

According to reports, the attackers made away with valuable items including designer wristwatches, jewelry, two iPhones, a MacBook laptop, and approximately £200,000 in cash.

Sources further claim that the total value of items stolen is estimated to be around £500,000. Authorities are said to be investigating the incident.

As at the time of this report, it was not clear whether or not any serious injury was sustained during the attack.

Born on May 3, 1996, in Lagos, Nigeria, Alex Iwobi had also played for English clubs such as Everton and Arsenal. Iwobi is known for his versatility, speed, and technical ability on the field.

He has also represented his country, Nigeria at various international levels, including the Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup qualifiers.
