Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, PhD, has approved the sum of N1,673,050,000 to be given N50,000.00 to each of the applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted last month for indigenes of the state.
The governor who announced this via a post on his verified social media handles today also thanked them for taking part in the recruitment exercise, adding that the money was for their transportation and lunch allowances.
The governor said: “To all 33,461 applicants who took the CBT Exam. I have approved ₦50,000 as transport and lunch allowance for each of you. Thank you for taking part in this recruitment process and for believing in our commitment to fairness and opportunity for all”.
