Chairman of the Labour Party National Caretaker Committee, Sen. Nenadi Usman has described as great shock, the passage of Mr. John Ikeamadi who died in a hospital after a brief illness.
Mr Ikeamadi until his demise, was the Chapter Chairman of the Labour Party in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
“It is with profound grief that I received the news of the passing of Mr. John Ikeamadi, Chairman of the Labour Party in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, who died in a hospital in Owerri after a brief illness”, Sen Nenadi stated in a statement made available to the media.
Lamenting over Ikeamadi’s death, the Labour Party National Caretaker Chairman added that his demise was a heavy blow to the party given that the deceased had presided over the party’s meeting a few days earlier.
“His death came as a great shock to me”, Sen Nenadi continued, adding “especially as I was informed that he had only a few days earlier presided over a strategic meeting on the party’s ongoing E-Registration exercise in his LGA.
This loss is indeed a heavy blow to the Labour Party family. I pray that Almighty God grants his immediate family, loved ones, and all party faithful the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”.
