…as Gov Eno pledges support to bereaved family

The General Overseer and Senior Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has described Late renowned Evangelist, Rev. Uma Ukpai as a true General of faith, saying that he had completed his earthly assignment.
Pastor Adeboye who stated this yesterday when he, in company of the governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, paid a condolence visit to the late Evangelist’s family in Uyo, also described Rev Ukpai’s death as a glorious home going.
Gov Umo Eno who revealed the details of the visit via a statement posted on his social media handles said the visit was a moment of deep reflection and gratitude for a life well lived.
“Earlier today, I joined the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on a condolence visit to the family of our beloved father in faith, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai.
Pastor Adeboye described the late evangelist as a true general of faith who completed his divine assignment and has gone home to glory.
It was a moment of deep reflection and gratitude, for a life well lived, a ministry that touched nations, and a man whose unwavering faith strengthened generations”, Gov Eno noted.
Corroborating Pastor Enoch’s assertion that the Late Rev Ukpai had finished his race, the governor pledged the state’s continued support to the bereaved family.
“We continue to stand with the Ukpai family, praying that God’s comfort and peace will surround them. Indeed, Dr. Uma Ukpai has finished his race and left behind a legacy that will forever inspire the body of Christ”, Gov Eno concluded.
