…pledges continued support for APC
The Executive Chairperson of Moro Local Government and Yeyemeso of Shao Kingdom, Alhaja Chief Mrs. Mariam Abdulwasiu Omotayo, has congratulated Mallam Salaudeen Babatunde AbdulFatai (Olawule) on his re-election as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Moro Local Government, alongside other members of the local executive.
Speaking at Bode-Saadu during the affirmation of the new APC Moro Local Government Executive, the Chairperson described Olawule’s emergence as a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and active commitment to the growth and stability of the party in the area. She noted that his track record of loyalty and service to the APC played a key role in earning him the confidence of party stakeholders.
She urged the re-elected chairman to continue to serve with humility, fairness, and respect for the party’s constitution. She also advised him to carry along party elders, youths, and women, stressing that their unity and cooperation remain the backbone of the APC’s strength in Moro Local Government.
While commending the two members of the Kwara State House of Assembly from Moro Local Government, as well as party elders and stakeholders present at the event, the Chairperson called for sustained support for the party at all levels. She assured the new executives of her unwavering support in advancing the party’s objectives in the council.
Alhaja Chief Mrs Mariam Abdulwasiu Omotayo concluded by appreciating the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, and the Kwara State APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Adeniran Fagbemi, for their leadership and fatherly roles in strengthening the party’s structure, which she said has positioned the APC firmly in Moro Local Government.
