Prophet Ituen urges Tinubu to value Wike, reaffirms 2027 election revelation

By Our Correspondent

A Lagos-based cleric, Prophet Ekong Ituen, has called on President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to “…hold FCT Minister Nyesom Wike in high esteem,” saying the minister has shown himself to be more of an asset to the administration than some stakeholders within the All Progressives Congress, APC.

In a statement released on July 1, 2026, the prophet said the advice is based on what he described as a spiritual assessment of loyalty and commitment to the President’s ambition.

“Spiritually speaking, he is loyal and committed to your ambition,” Ituen said of Wike, urging Tinubu to accord the minister greater recognition within the current government structure.

The cleric also revisited an earlier prophecy concerning the 2027 presidential election.

According to the July 1 statement, Ituen said his recent revelation carried what he termed “confirmation, affirmation and attestation by the Host of Angels” that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential poll.

“In my revelation, there is a confirmation, affirmation and attestation by the Host of Angels, that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will win 2027 presidential election, as previously predicted, only death can stop him,” the statement read.

Ituen linked the July 1 release to a February 16, 2026 prophecy that was shared publicly on Facebook. In that earlier post, he stated: “Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will win 2027 presidential election, as reflected in the spiritual realm. You may not like him but that is what I saw in my revelation. Only death can stop him.”

Beyond the declaration on the forthcoming election, the prophet used both statements to appeal for restraint among religious leaders. He urged Christian leaders to “refrain from making inflammatory utterances that promote conflicts and disunity,” adding that political outcomes ultimately rest with God.

“Because whatever anyone becomes in life is exclusively in the hands of God, as God gives power to whoever He pleases,” he had said in the February release.

The remarks come at a time of ongoing political conversations around alliances within the APC and the positioning of key figures ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Wike, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP who is also a former governor of Rivers State, now serves as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT. He remains a central figure in discussions about cross-party relationships and governance strategy.

It could also be recalled that prior to the 2019 elections, the fierce Prophet had prophesied that: “David Umahi of PDP in Ebonyi State, Ben Ayade of PDP in Cross River State will win 2019 Governorship Elections in their respective States.” These declarations were also widely publicized.

Other notable prophesies by Prophet Ituen lincluded: “The incumbent governors of Imo and Ogun State, Rochas Okorocha and Ibikunle Amosun will experience political humiliation that will make them irrelevant in their respective states after 2019 election.

“President Muhammadu Buhari and the following governorship candidates will win 2019 elections in their respective states; Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State”.

Also, before the 2015 general elections, Prophet Ituen had said: “President Jonathan will not win 2015 Presidential election because I have seen the flag falling from his hands, which signifies defeat.

He will beg Obasanjo for reconciliation but Obasanjo will be adamant. He should be careful with some Northern governors as they will not be there for him when he will need them most.”
