*Akwa Ibom Police refuse Anthony Jack’s release

After being incarcerated for four days, men of the Nigeria Police Force , Akwa Ibom State Command, Ikot Akpanabia have refused to release Mr Anthony Jack.
Recall that Jack was arrested by the Police since Thursday last week after court sitting in Etinan on the orders of Rev Sylvia Imoh, founder of Humility Glory Mission .
Rev Sylvia is an elder sister to the immediate-past governor of Akwa Ibom State, Deacon UDOM Emmanuel .
Sylvia had, allegedly acting as front for his younger brother, Governor Udom Emmanuel (as he then was), used Anthony Jack and Idara Udofa as agents to buy large expanse of land covering two villages in Nsit Ibom LGA worth billions of Naira.
As at the time of this report, the Police have refused to release Anthony Jack, while the main reason for his illegal detention has not been made known.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Akwa Ibom State Command, DSP Timfon John when contacted on the matter, promised to get the full details and revert.
