Sustainable Progress – Gov Otu fulfilling promises in Cross River State

After years of neglect, the Parliamentary Extension Road in Calabar is finally embodying sustainable progress as Governor Bassey Edet Otu delivers on promises. The rehabilitation project stands at 90–95% completion, a sustainable milestone in the state government’s infrastructure agenda. This road, once unsustainable due to potholes and bad drainage, is now built for lasting use by Calabar residents.

Promises became action in January 2024 when Governor Otu launched the project, advancing sustainable development in Cross River State. The Parliamentary Extension Road is central to his drive for enduring infrastructure that supports economic growth and community revival, alongside sustainable works in Ikot Ansa and Jonathan Bypass.

Sustainable progress is evident as businesses grow steadily and vendors maintain better operations through reliable transport of goods and services. The project ensures long-term benefits rather than temporary fixes.

Nearing full completion at 90–95%, the road will provide sustainable access soon after final inspections. Delivery on promises reflects consistent leadership, durable planning, and transparent execution. Governor Otu is delivering sustainable progress for Calabar.
