In a heartbreaking incident, Mr. Ikechukwu lost his wife and four children after their vehicle plunged into a river while returning from a wedding ceremony. He was the only survivor of the tragic accident.
Recounting the painful experience, Mr. Ikechukwu said that just before the crash, he felt a strange breeze pass across his face, his vision went blank, and he lost all awareness of his surroundings.
“In the car were myself, my wife, and our four children,” he said tearfully. “Only I made it out alive.”

He also shared a chilling confession. Before the journey, a roadside preacher had given a prophetic warning, urging him not to embark on the trip. The pastor advised that if the journey was necessary, he should sow five separate seeds of ₦50,000 each at five different altars as a form of spiritual covering. The preacher warned that ignoring this instruction could lead to tragic consequences — and that he would be held accountable.
“I didn’t believe the message,” Mr. Ikechukwu admitted. “I’ve always thought God doesn’t demand money. So I ignored it.”
He added that, a day before the trip, a mentally unstable woman confronted him and asked, “Have you done the sacrifice?” When he offered her ₦100, she angrily threw it back and ran away.
“Now I understand,” he said with deep sorrow. “The five seeds were meant to represent my wife and four children. It was a sacrifice I didn’t make. If only I had listened. If only I had believed.”
Consumed by grief, Mr. Ikechukwu said he now struggles with unbearable pain and guilt. “I hear their screams every night. I’m not okay. I feel like giving up.
