Renowned cleric and prophetic voice, His Grace, Prophet Ekong Ituen, has warned Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, to intensify prayers to avert what he described as a looming political onslaught from the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike, ahead of the 2027 governorship election in the state.
In a prophetic revelation released on Thursday, September 17, 2026, Prophet Ituen said the governor may find it difficult to install a successor if urgent spiritual and political steps are not taken.
“Pray to avert Minister Nyesom Wike’s political onslaught as previously warned. You will find it difficult to install a successor,” the prophet warned.
According to the cleric, his revelation showed Senator Sam Anyanwu emerging as the strongest contender that could spring a political surprise in the Imo State governorship contest.
“In my revelation, I saw Senator Sam Anyanwu reflecting as the strongest contender that could spring a surprise,” Prophet Ituen said.
The Founder and Spiritual Leader of Christ Deliverance Ministries, CDM, Lagos, further urged Governor Uzodimma to critically re-examine his circle of political confidants and allies, alleging that many of them are already working with his political enemies.
“I urge you to re-examine your political confidants and allies to avert impending political sabotage and surprise, because majority of them are dinning with your political enemies,” he stated.
The latest prophecy to Governor Uzodimma comes barely ten days after a similar warning issued by the prophet on September 7, 2026, concerning the political influence of Minister Wike in several states ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In that earlier prophecy, Prophet Ituen had listed Governor Mbah of Enugu State, Governor Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State and the APC candidate in Imo State as needing serious prayers and divine intervention to overcome Wike’s political onslaught during the 2027 governorship elections.
He had warned that the FCT Minister has determined to secure victory for PDP governorship candidates either through the ballot or court process after the election in the mentioned states.
“Governor Mbah of Enugu State, Governor Nwifuru of Ebonyi State and the candidate of Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, as well as APC candidate in Imo State at their election time, needs serious prayer and divine intervention to overcome Minister Nyesom Wike’s political onslaught during 2027 Governorship Elections in their respective states, because Minister Wike has determined to secure victory for PDP governorship candidates either through the ballot or court process after the election in the above mentioned states. I advise them to align with a true Prophet of their choice to avert political humiliation because God has a word for them,” the September 7 prophecy read.
Prophet Ituen noted that prophecy is a warning and a clue to the future, which can be prevented if the right steps are taken.
