Ahead of next year’s general elections, leaders and chieftains of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, have been implored to act fast and set their house in order, failure of which would cause them electoral defeat.
Spiritual Leader and Founder of Christ Deliverance Ministries, CDM, Lagos; His Grace, Prophet Ekong Ituen who handed down the advice in a statement he made available to the media, revealed that he foresaw deeper troubles, internal wranglings and conflicts of interest.
“Act swiftly, time is running out”, Ekong Ituen warned and further advised the party to: “Set your house in order to avert an impending defeat. The current political conflict of interest within your party is only the tip of the iceberg compared to what lies ahead”
Stressing on the negative implications of the party’s failure to heed the advice, the fierce Prophet continued: “In my revelation, I foresee deeper troubles, infighting and intensified internal wrangling, which will ultimately lead to defeat in the 2027 presidential election”
It could be recalled that the ADC which recently became prominent following the defection into it by some notable leaders and members of other political parties, was thrown into serious chaos leading to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, de-recognizing its National Chairman; Sen David Mark and National Secretary; Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
The ADC chaos followed a court judgment which invalidated the emergence of David Mark and other national leaders of the party which was sequel to a suit instituted by one of its chieftains, Bala.
It could also be recalled that prior to the crisis, Prophet Ituen had on July 7, 2025, forewarned the party of its impending troubles, urging them to uphold party supremacy above their personal interests.
According to Ituen: “Confusion and crisis looms in ADC – African Democratic Congress. In my revelation, I see conflict of interests amongst key political stakeholders which will be detrimental to the purpose of the coalition. I urge them to uphold party supremacy above their personal interests”.
Prior to the 2015 general elections, Prophet Ituen had prophesied that the then President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who was seeking a re-election, would be defeated at the polls.
“President Jonathan will not win 2015 Presidential election because I have seen the flag falling from his hands, which signifies defeat. He will beg Obasanjo for reconciliation but Obasanjo will be adamant. He should be careful with some Northern governors as they will not be there for him when he will need them most”, Prophet Ekong Ituen had prophesied and was widely published in the media including the Daily Sun of 20th January, 2014 on page 54, amongst other dailies.
