…as VP Shettima flags off NJFP 2.0
Are you a Nigerian youth, a graduate in any field?
Did you graduate between 2022 and 2025 and have valid NYSC discharge certificate?

Then, register to join the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP).
This is a Federal Government of Nigeria’s internship programme which is funded in conjunction with the European Union.
Also, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is actively working in Nigeria to address various development challenges with interests in areas such as Information and Communication Technology (ICT), food security through agriculture, manufacturing sector, entertainment industry, etc.
The UNDP via the NJFP has set aside a $220 million initiative aimed at creating sustainable employment opportunities for young Nigerians through practical work experience, training, and mentorship.
The first phase of the NJFP code named ‘1.0’ was launched about three years ago.
The second phase, NJFP 2.0 was flagged off yesterday by the Vice President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Sen Kashim Shettima at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Yours truly was invited to attend the event which was strictly by invitation.
At the event, various keynote speakers drawn from the public and private sectors presented papers on different areas of concern.
After the flagoff yesterday, the portal was opened at 5pm for new fellows to apply.
Under the programme, successful applicants would be sent (matched) to various companies/establishments of interest such as the ICT, agriculture, education, manufacturing, health, etc, for twelve months as fellows.
During this period, the fellows would be paid while undergoing mentorship and training.
