Breaking! Ahead 2027, four PDP Senators defect to APC
Four Senators elected on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have formally defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The lawmakers who announced their defection during plenary on the floor of the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, cited lingering crisis rocking the former ruling party.
The new defectors are Senator Etim, Bassey Aniekan representing Akwa Ibom Northeast Senatorial District and Senator Sampson Ekong who’s representing Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District.
Others are Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi of Osun East Senatorial District as well as Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunla representing Osun Central Senatorial District.
